Covered Bridge Sports of Dover, New Hampshire isn't the sporting-goods store you're used to. Run by athletes for athletes, Covered Bridge Sports has been in operation since 1958, passing through the hands of four generations of the Merrill family and serving the Granite State's Lakes and Seacoast regions.

The store began solely as a small importer of skis from Europe before expanding in 1964 to encompass other winter and summer sports as well. When demand for its quality products and services again outgrew its surroundings, the store relocated in 1977 to a building with four times the space of the previous location and took the name Covered Bridge Sports.

Since its inception, Covered Bridge Sports has existed in conjunction with two other specialty stores: Western Auto, which offers lawnmowers, tires, batteries, and other automotive accessories, and Dover Marine, which provides sales and service on marine parts, engines, and watercraft. Taken together, our stores and service centers can handle a wide variety of your family and mechanical needs.

Through the years, Covered Bridge Sports has grown and adapted to the changing face of American leisure interests and now provides a grand assortment of skiing, snowboarding, aquatic, baseball, hockey, snowshoe, and other equipment and attire. Come inside and look around!
